Painting With Paper

Rylan's first solo gallery exhibit shown at Little Fern Wood Gallery in Victoria British Columbia Canada. Works shown were made between the end of 2022 and start of 2024 using found images in art magazines which were torn into tiny peices and pasted to canvas, card stalk or cardboard. These works try to protray a liquid like movment that can often times feel pyschedelic in nature with each viewer able to have an independent expierence with the imagery that may present its self to them. The gallery space had large open windows in the front which let in a sea of natural light which let these pieces flurish along with a tall ceiling the space felt bright and inviting. Next to a little cafe and located within a community centre there was no shortage of foot traffick and on lookers, I would recommend any one go down and check out the space and which ever show they may be showing next.
